Charis Tsevis is a Cyrus based visual designer who has decades of experience in the field of advertising and visual communication. He completed his visual design studies in Athens and Milan and has been collaborating with various International clients. Queen's Gambit is a popular TV series in which Beth Harmon who became an orphan at the young age of nine discovers her skill in chess and masters it. Charis compares the game of chess to the life of people during a pandemic. The year 2020 unleashed a lot of unknown challenges, dilemmas and terrific complications of life due to the spread of coronavirus. It also spread humanity and strength besides its negative effects, many discovered their hidden talents. Undeniably the pandemic has shown us the limitations of human life. Charis has created the queen's gambit series of photo mosaic with a simple checkerboard with few colours and has dedicated it to all Beth Harmon fans.
