Lera Kiryakova is Russian illustrator whose character designs based on girls from different countries started in 2018 and has been a big success. Her creative designing combined with the detailed facial expressions and features make them stand unique among the work of other illustrators. Lera first identifies the individual features and harmoniously enlarges them without spoiling the characters recognition and identity. All her characters have big eyes, wide eyebrows, round face and thinner neck to give a kind of cartoonish look but she always ensures that the identity of the character is recognised. Lera gives importance to small details like applying shadows and light which makes the characteristics look clearer.
