Realistic Pencil Drawings requires a lot of practice to achieve the desired results. The tools which are required are some print-making paper or any paper which can soak up enough graphite, use the pencil ranges HB to 9B. Use the block in technique(vertical and horizontal lines) to bring the subject on the paper. Use an extra white sheet under your palm, so you don't end up smudging your outlines. Leave the pencil drawing detailing bits to end, first focus on adding enough graphite to big blocks and work on the light shades, much like working on a photo negative in a dark room. It's advisable to use a mechanical pencil which has replaceable leads, so you can have sharp outlines. If you are using graphite powder, use the buffing technique, so it gives you the deepest black shade. Graphite powders are available in stores, but you can also grind your shading pencils and use it. Pencil Drawings are fun, just take your sketch book and your pencils and you are ready to begin your creativity.
