St+Art India Foundation Changes the View of Indian Street Art

Street art has marched into Indian homes by tranforming the surroundings into art pieces. The railways stations, government buildings, deserted buildings have been transformed into street mural by this art group known as St+art India Foundation. Many art events are hosted in major cities like Kochi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Coimbatore and you can see many indian and international street artists participating in these events. India is used to seeing political symbols on it's public buildings, but now with this street painting, it's a welcome sight for passers-by. The first street painting event was held in 2014 by St+art Foundation in Delhi and ever since it has spread it's branches to other major cities. The first indian street art team consisted of: Hanif Kureshi, Akshat Nauriyal, Arjun Bahl, Thanish Thomas and Giulia Ambrogi and now you have more enthusiastic artists who want to paint the town red.
